Filmed a behind-the-scenes video for Simply Gold Productions as they documented the Grey Cup Halftime Show at BC Place. Captured their crew filming the setup, rehearsals, and halftime performance by the Jonas Brothers, along with the behind-the-scenes work that goes into a production of this scale. Also photographed key moments, including Prince Harry’s surprise appearance for the Invictus Games. Working on such a large production with top-tier talent was an incredible experience. The final video featured a mix of my footage and shots filmed by the Simply Gold Productions team, showcasing both their process in action and the final content they created.

This project is a behind the scenes look at Simply Gold Productions while they were creating the official behind the scenes video for the Vancouver Canucks 2025 opening film, Mission Home. Simply Gold was documenting how the opening video was made, and my role was to capture their process as they worked on set. I also filmed select shots that were used directly in the official behind the scenes video they produced. Highlights included capturing the pyrotechnics moments and time spent around Canucks players during the shoot. As a long time Canucks fan, it was unreal getting to be on set around the players and capture it all up close.

Filmed and edited a behind-the-scenes video showcasing how Simply Gold Productions created a business profile and testimonial video for Limitless AV. Captured the full production process, from lighting and camera setup to interviews and final takes. Some shots were filmed by the Simply Gold crew, which I then incorporated into the final edit to provide a complete look at the production. One of the highlights was filming on a rooftop overlooking Vancouver, with some incredible views of the city. It was an amazing location, until a bird nearly pooped on the drone mid-flight. Thankfully, no aerial footage was lost in the process!

Edited a five minute behind the scenes video for Chimera’s Ghost, a short indie horror film about a boy navigating identity, faith, and trauma in the 1980s. The video combines interviews, on set footage, and reflections from the cast and crew to show how the film’s creative vision came together. It explores key story elements like the use of an imaginary friend, the emotional weight of the script, and the symbolism behind its religious themes. The BTS also highlights unique visual ideas such as God’s eye and devil’s eye camera angles, as well as practical horror effects like a detailed face melt. Edited using Adobe Premiere Pro, this became one of my favourite projects because of how much storytelling and emotion I was able to bring out through the editing process.

Filmed and edited a promo video for DJ Thomas at a JJ Bean corporate event held at the Vancouver Italian Cultural Centre. Focused on capturing his performance, mixing, and setup, highlighting his energy and style behind the decks. Edited the footage to create a polished, engaging video that he can use to promote future events.

After finishing the shoot, I had the chance to try some incredible Italian food, definitely a highlight of the night!

Filmed and edited a daily recap video series for Daybreak Point Bible Camp on Anvil Island. Captured the best moments from each day, including activities, skits, and camp-wide events, then edited everything together overnight to be shown the next morning. The fast turnaround required quick decision-making, creative storytelling, and efficient editing to keep campers engaged and excited for the next day. This video is the final montage of the week, wrapping up all the best moments into one highlight reel to show everything the campers got up to.
